ExxonMobil announced the launch of Mobil ServSM, a new global services brand aiming to optimization of lubricant consumption and maintenance programs, vessel reliability and operating costs.
As the company explained, the combination of Mobil Serv and ExxonMobil portfolio of lubricants aims to help operators tackle challenges ahead of the tough economic climate and changing regulation.
Under the brand, some of the services will be enhanced by cloud computing and big data through an information and trend analysis platform.
“Many of our next-generation services build on new technology with an easy-to-use platform that will enable operators to gain deeper insights and help drive crucial efficiencies within their business,” said Iain White, Global Marketing Manager at ExxonMobil Marine.
Services in the Mobil Serv brand will include Mobil ServSM Lubricant Analysis, which will replace SignumSM Oil Analysis.
