NCL consults Foreship on Ballast Water compliance

Foreship announced that secured a design consultancy contract, covering the first post-Ballast Water Convention treatment systems, to be specified by Norwegian Cruise Line. The contract calls for independent naval architecture and marine engineering consultancy services to ensure installations on five NCL ships are fully IMO-compliant.

The portfolio is to be purchased by major Chinese investors CGN Europe Energy, the European renewable investment arm of China General Nuclear (CGN) Power Group – the group that holds a 33% share of the new £18 billion Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in Somerset, UK.
